Australia Day is one day in Sydney where the city becomes a huge party. The city of Sydney puts on a huge party. Within the city there are free performances by signed artists and there are performances for the children.

The main events are held in the Domain, Darling Harbour, and the Rocks. Throughout the city you will find something happening. In Hyde Park located not far from center point tower the park comes alive with a massive car show and food stalls.
In the evening in Darling Harbour the night sky comes alive with celebration fireworks.

During Australia Day celebrations there are some events which are ticketed events. These tickected events are like theatre and arts.
Throughout the day you will find events on Sydney harbour the race of the sydney ferries. Where the local ferries dress up their ferries and race down Sydney Harbour. Throughout Australia Day in the skys the rouletes perform flying formations over the city. The Australian Navy put on a search and rescue display next to the Sydney Opera House and botainical gardens.
