City to Surt is a fun run that is held once a year. The race is held over 14 kms with thousands of compeitors competing every year, with each year it grows bigger each year. You don't have to run the course, alot of competitors dress up in fancy dress and walk the course.
Kidney Kar Rally is a rally to raise funds for Kidney Research. The Kidney Kar Rally starts in a different town every year and drives throughout the outback, along the way they raise money the drivers may pay bribes to advance to the lead and doge fines. This is a fun charity event. If you are in the area it's sure worth a look.
Australia Day is a day for Australians to celebrate the discovery of Australia. During Australia Day the city of Sydney becomes a massive street party. Throughout the city you will find street performances. Stages throughout the city that offer live stage performances for both adults and children. In the evening Darling Harbour becomes alive with a free fireworks display, right next to imax theatre.

Sydney to Hobart Yacht Race is one of the toughest ocean races in the world. The Sydney to Hobart yacht race attracts compeitors from all over the world. The field will sail down the harbour to north and south head. The starting line is just outside Sydney heads.
Royal Sydney Easter Show has been appart of Sydney's history. The Royal Easter Show is for all ages. Children will love the show, walk through with the farm animals, or watch the performing ducks.
While you are visiting the show make sure you visit the Australian woodchoping event. This is one of the most famous events at the show.
In the evening the main event is in the main arena with, riders on dirt bikes performing crazy tricks, while the ford team perform triks on both 4 and two weels. With the fiinalie of fireworks. The Royal Easter Show has something for everyone, arts and crafts, rides, sideshows, bars, rodeo, dogs, and live performances throughout the day.
If you love adventure sport or you love the crazy sports Australia has one where you can enter. Australia's winter wild weekend is what the name suggests its cold and its wild. The weekend consists of a number of events, boarding, the famous dash for cash, where a field of skiers race for a large sum of money, where there are no rules, and there is normally spectacular spills and crashes fom the step decent on the first hill.
