Sydney offers a number of different locations where you can view the fireworks from harbour cruises to claiming you advantage spot on the foreshore around Sydney Harbour. No matter where you choose to view Sydney's New Years Eve Fireworks you will have to plan ahead, and also plan to get there early.

The better vantage points have a restricted number of people who may enter in each area to view the fireworks, once this number is reached the area is closed. The time in which it is closed depends on how quickly each of the vantage points fill up. It is advised to get to your chosen venue as early as you can, and spend the day at the venue. So bring a picnic rug and picnic.
