Bathurst 1000 is Sydney's most famous car races. For the past 75 years the bathurst 100 has become appart of Australia's history. Many aussies travel thousands of kilometers to watch and experience the event. The Bathurst 1000 is a road race held over 1000 kms around Mt Panorama. Bathurst is approx 3 hours from Sydney. Getting to Bathurst you have two choices. catch the train to Lithgow then catch a connecting bus from Lithgow to Bathurst. The easist way is to drive to Bathurst.
